What you need before you start

Step-by-step — your first swap

1

Install TronLink wallet

Go to tronlink.org and install the browser extension. Create a new wallet and securely save your seed phrase. Send TRX from an exchange (Binance, Kraken) to your TronLink address to fund it.

2

Go to sun.io and select SunSwap

Navigate to the official Sun.io website. Click "SunSwap" in the navigation. You'll see a standard swap interface similar to Uniswap.

3

Connect TronLink

Click "Connect Wallet" and select TronLink. Approve the connection in your TronLink extension. Your TRX balance will appear on the interface.

4

Select tokens and enter amount

Choose the token you want to swap from (e.g. TRX) and the token you want to receive (e.g. USDT). Enter the amount. SunSwap shows the current exchange rate and estimated output.

5

Review and confirm

Check the rate and slippage. Click "Swap" and confirm the transaction in TronLink. Tron is fast — your transaction should confirm within a few seconds. Received tokens appear in your TronLink wallet balance.

💡 SunSwap is particularly useful for swapping between USDT (TRC-20) and TRX cheaply. If you receive USDT on Tron and want to convert some to TRX for gas, this is the quickest way to do it without going back to a centralised exchange.
